They represent the values and priorities that guide our decisions, strengthen our mission, and keep us focused on creating meaningful, lasting impact in the communities we serve.

FOOD IS
HEALTH

Access to nutritious, affordable food is essential to health, learning, and opportunity. Through the School Meals for All NC campaign, Stronger with SNAP, and partnerships that strengthen local food systems, we advance policies and programs that reduce hunger, support healthy childhood development, and help build a stronger future for North Carolina

CONNECTED COMMUNITIES

The places where we live, work, learn, and play shape our health and well-being. Through advocacy, partnerships, and systems change, we work to create safer, more accessible, and more inclusive communities while addressing the social and environmental factors that influence health across North Carolina

HEALTH
ACCESS

Access to affordable, reliable health care helps build healthier communities and a resilient North Carolina. Through the Keeping NC Medicaid Strong Coalition and statewide partnerships, we advance practical solutions that strengthen public health systems and help North Carolinians live healthier lives

NC Alliance for Health navigates, connects, and advocates for health by bringing together partners across North Carolina to advance practical solutions that improve health and strengthen communities statewide.

We work across food, health, and community systems to drive policy and systems change that reduces chronic disease, improves access to care and healthy food, and creates the conditions for all North Carolinians to live healthier lives.

Through coalition building, public policy advocacy, strategic communications, and community engagement, we help build a healthier North Carolina through our focus areas: Food is Health, Connected Communities, and Health Access.
