Between 2011 and 2017 there was an 894% increase in the use of e-cigarettes by North Carolina high school students. NCAH promotes funding for teen tobacco use prevention programs that focus on, among other things, educating youth about the dangers of e-cigarette use. NCAH continues to monitor the ever growing body of research that shows the dangers of e-cigarette use, especially by young people.
