OUR MISSION
To educate and mobilizea unified network of people with developmental disabilities, their families, caregivers, and allies within communities across North Carolina. Together, people with lived experience will influence policies and change attitudesto highlight the value that people with disabilities bring to their communities.
HOW WE TAKE ACTION

- Build a statewide network in every county to amplify voices and messages
- Collaborate across communities—disability, age, level of need, culture, marginalized populations, and region
- Ensure people with disabilities and families are included in all decisions that impact their lives
- Engage leaders and allies to make North Carolina more inclusive of people with developmental disabilities
- Shape the narrative—funding disability services and supports strengthens North Carolina’s communities, workforce, and economy
- Educate and empower stakeholders equally through meetings, webinars, social media, newsletters, and town halls
