NCAH HEALTH EQUITY WORKGROUP
We are excited to announce that we recently applied for a grant to focus on health equity within our advocacy campaigns. The States of Solutions grant opportunity is a partnership of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and 100 Million Lives and aims to develop collaboration across multiple sectors of the state to advance health equity.
NCAH is creating a Health Equity Workgroup to ensure our tobacco use prevention and obesity campaigns are reflective of the needs of communities they affect. The workgroup will convene to create an internal health equity action plan. Participants in the workgroup will meet on an as-needed basis to have continuous conversations about health equity and to develop new strategies on how NCAH can be more inclusive of diverse populations.
If you are interested in joining the health equity workgroup please complete this google form, and contact Grassroots Coordinator Ivy Ferrell firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions. We welcome participation in the workgroup on behalf of your organization or as an individual.
Thank you for your support of NCAH!
