Food insecurity in North Carolina has skyrocketed since COVID-19, but even before the pandemic more than 2 million people in our state, including nearly 500,000 children under the age of 15, were living in areas where residents have high rates of diet-related disease and can’t easily access a venue to purchase healthy food. All North Carolinians deserve to have access to healthy food. Take action now to ask your legislators to provide funding for programs that increase access to healthy food. |
