Opportunity to Provide Input

In preparation for seeking accreditation from the national Public Health Accreditation Board, the Division of Public Health and its partners have completed a State Health Assessment with 5 identified priorities. Now, they need your input on the process and priorities. If you would like to review and provide input to that important process, please click here or go to http://publichealth.nc.gov/sha.

The 5 priorities they have chosen are:

  • Obesity, Nutrition and Physical Activity
  • Unintended Pregnancy
  • Tobacco Use, including e-cigarettes
  • Infant Mortality/Perinatal Health
  • Access to quality and culturally competent care, including integration of physical, mental and oral health

We hope you will take a few minutes to provide feedback on these priorities.
