Ask Congress to Keep Kids Fed

Right now, children and families in North Carolina and across the country need Congress to vote “yes” for the Keep Kids Fed Act. The Keep Kids Fed Act is bi-partisan legislation introduced by Seate Agriculture Chairwoman Debbie Stabenow (D-MI), Ranking Member John Boozman (R-AR) and House Education and Labor Chairman Bobby Scott (D-VA) and Ranking Member Virginia Foxx (R-NC), to help support children, families, schools, and child care providers as they struggle to recover from the fallout of the pandemic.

This issue has bipartisan support and is critically needed for school nutrition programs and summer meal service providers in North Carolina and nationwide. Supply chain shortages, increased transportation, and labor costs, and inflation in food prices during the past few years have added increased costs and burdens on school nutrition programs, child care programs, and summer meal programs. Families are struggling, too. We are asking you to take action today. Ask your Senators and Representatives to vote “yes” to Keep Kids Fed.

Take Action!
